2012 31 foot Sirius Yachts Model 310 “Indefatigable”
Sirius Werft Pion or Sirius Yachts is a German Ship Yard founded in 1971. It is family owned and known for its deck Saloon go anywhere sailboats. Each of their models are hand crafted with custom built interiors to the owner needs and specifications. They feature the choice options of single, twin or even a lifting keel designs. An innovative split-level arrangements allows multiple stateroom options only available in much larger sailing yachts. With over 50 years of experience Sirius Yachts are sold world-wide.
Louis Tenebruso is the Fourth Owner of this Sirius Model 310 and the second American owner. The first was an American, followed by a German, and Englishman and now Louis. He became obsessed with this design in 2020. Realizing its extremely limited availability this side of the pond he traveled to the United Kingdom to purchase this boat. “Indefatigable” is a single keel, single forward Vee berth with a large equipment room. Additional accommodations can be provided by lowering the saloon table for occasional guests. She can be handled either form a tiller in the cockpit or an interior wheel in inclement weather. The inside wheel offers an excellent 360 degree view for the helmsman. When not under sail she is powered by a 29 HP three cylinder Volvo Penta DI-30
The name “Indefatigable” is Louis’s homage to the Captain Horatio Hornblower series of historical fiction novels by C. S. Forester. You might sight Louis TYenebruso’s “Indefatigable” sailing the Delaware River or Chesapeake Bay.
